Operational update
In June, there was a net increase of 10 self-operated AHS stores and 13 standard joint-operated AHS stores. The new joint operations are located in Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Hebei, Guizhou and Shandong provinces, further improving market penetration in new markets. Meanwhile, besides self-operated stores, AHS Recycle places a few value-for-money like-new used phone samples at its joint-operated stores, strengthening consumers’ awareness and shopping experience of such products.
AHS Recycle extended its doorstep pre-owned product recycling services in Shanghai to luxury goods. Users enjoy a five-step hassle-free recycling service at home to dispose of their premium but idle goods, including luxury bags and watches. The five steps are online appointment, to-door visit, price confirmation, authentication and remittance. In the second half of 2024, there is a pipeline of first-tier cities in China for launching doorstep services for luxury goods recycling.

ATRenew implements annual responsible disclosure for fourth consecutive year by releasing its 2023 ESG report
For the fourth consecutive year, ATRenew has released its environmental, social and governance (ESG) report, responding to the concerns of key stakeholders such as users, employees, investors, regulators, and communities on sustainable development issues. The report disclosed that ATRenew’s greenhouse gas emission intensity (scope 1 + scope 2) in 2023 was 0.28 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent/million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 6.67%, representing a fourth consecutive year of reduction. In 2023, ATRenew recycled and supervised the green disposal of more than 110,000 useless electronic devices, reducing electronic product pollution by nearly 18 tons. At the same time, it improved green logistics and further implemented eco-friendly reuse of packing materials. In addition, ATRenew strengthened internal audit work, improved the standardization of business processes, advanced its risk management capabilities, and rectified 100% of defects identified during SOX internal control review.
PJT Marketplace advances new retail supply chain with Douyin e-commerce and industry partners
On June 26th, PJT Marketplace, the B2B transaction platform of ATRenew hosted an industry conference in Nanjing for secondhand consumer electronics business owners to exchange ideas. During the conference, PJT Marketplace, together with the new B2C retail platform Paipai and Douyin e-commerce, hosted a strategic cooperation signing ceremony. PJT Marketplace opened its industry-leading second-hand consumer electronics supply chain capabilities to empower more small and medium-sized businesses in new retail. During the conference, a number of industry experts from Douyin e-commerce, D.Phone, and Huitongda were invited to share their experiences. Recently, this supply chain empowerment has formed model stores and is being piloted in large domestic chain stores of smartphones and consumer electronics.
