In the fourth issue of the micro-documentary “《师想者来了》” produced by China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), Mr. Rui Meng, Professor of Finance and Accounting at CEIBS, talks to Mr. Wang Yongliang, Executive President at ATRenew while experiencing the applications of the circular economy in real life. The during the walk, they discussed the parallel development of commercial, social and environmental value of corporate. In the case of ATRenew’s business innovation, more diversified groups of target users are encouraged to try out recycle-and-reuse services which is becoming a leading practice of green consumption upgrade.

On February 24, prior to the two sessions, President Xi presided over the fourth meeting of the Central Financial and Economic Commission. The meeting was held to discuss issues of large-scale equipment renewal and trade-in of consumer goods. During the meeting, it was stressed that efforts should be made to promote trade-in of durable goods along with large-scale recycle-and-reuse. As far as trade-in of consumer goods is concerned, the central financial authorities should coordinate with local governments, and support all links in a coordinated manner, so that consumers will get more benefits.
